Original mixed-media work ‘Favela’, inspired by the architectural structure of the Brazilian favelas in Rio de Janeiro. The piece is constructed from cardboard, print and paint on a wooden panel and finished entirely in a monochrome taupe colour (panel and houses in a single colour). The whole has a pronounced 3D effect: it protrudes approximately 15 cm from the wall.

The composition depicts a stacked arrangement of houses, staircases and facades, incorporating street art and typography. The hand-built construction reveals the considerable effort and attention to detail that has gone into every aspect.
