Le Prince de la Nuit

The Gothic vampire series ‘Le Prince de la Nuit’ was written and illustrated by the renowned Belgian comic artist and scriptwriter Yves Swolfs.

The style of this ex-libris – which is in very good condition – with its strong black-and-white contrast, dramatic shadows, Gothic landscapes and a silhouette wearing a cape – is highly characteristic of Swolfs’ early work in this series. The piece is signed in pencil and also states the limited edition: number 35 out of a series of 80.
