A unique mixed-media object featuring unusual combinations of materials. In addition to paint, cardboard and tape, the work incorporates French musical scores dating back around a century. The piece is finished with a matt archival varnish.

The heart is inlaid with wooden letters and subtly stands out in relief, causing it to literally detach from the surface.

The little figure carries her heart with gentleness and tenderness, thereby giving it wings. Perhaps we should all be allowed to do the same.
